Migraine Treatment

Botox-A, was approved in 2010 by the FDA for the treatment of chronic migraine. Botox is injected into specific areas of your head and neck involved in migraine pain. The effect lasts for about 3 months. Botox injections were developed to block neurotransmitters that tell your muscles to contract. Botox is a preventative therapy for migraine, meaning it can reduce migraine frequency. 

Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction

Botox can significantly decrease pain and increase mouth movements for three months following treatment. Botox injections are shown to be relatively safe and effective treatment for TMJ disorders. The treatment is a non-surgical, outpatient procedure and usually takes 10-30 Minutes.
